Milford man accused of tampering with ex-girfriend’s brakes

A Milford man has been charged, after he apparently messed with the brakes on his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle.

Milford Police say on July 5, they arrested 41-year-old Jean Gustave, in connection to the incident. According to the report, Gustave had been dating a 29-year-old woman, but once the relationship ended, he reportedly unscrewed the back brakes on her vehicle, without her knowing.

Police say she didn’t find the damage, until she tried to drive it. Gustave also reportedly said that next time, he would do more damage to the vehicle.

After his arrest, Gustave was charged with reckless endangering 1st degree, and criminal mischief under $1,000, and released on a $5,100 unsecured bond.
