Mike Jean-Charles Cycles Through Legion Ball Playoffs

The Wicomico Legion baseball team has continued to keep their unbeaten streak alive with a group effort, but there was one player whose efforts shined on the field.

Bennett High School graduate, Mike Jean-Charles, hit for a cycle today at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium helping his team get the 12-2 win over Kent-Queen’s in the first game of the best of 3 series. 

Wicomico has continued to show greatness throughout the summer and they got things going early against Kent-Queen’s. With win number one under their belt, Wicomico has the opportunity to close out the series tomorrow night at 5:30 at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium.

The winner of this series heads to Hagerstown to play in a double-elimination tournament – the American Legion State Tournament – with eight other teams.
