Meet Dr. Kathy Spreen, from Pennsylvania
Dr. Kathy Spreen literally wrote the book on Lyme Disease, titled the Compendium of Tick-borne Disease: A Thousand Pearls. 6 years ago her son got sick, and she didn’t know why. After many doctor evaluations, her son was eventually diagnosed with Lyme Disease. She tells 47 ABC she wrote the book she wish she had 6 years ago. She most recently participated as a member of the Delaware Lyme Disease Prevention Task Force.
