Man found unresponsive in Dewey Beach, investigation on-going

A Bethesda man is recovering, after he was reportedly found unresponsive in a local beach town.
Dewey Beach Police say on Friday, around 1:15 AM, Officers responded to a home on Coastal Highway for reports of an unresponsive person. According to the report, a passerby had found the 45-year-old man, and realized that he didn’t have a pulse.
The Officers, with assistance from an off-duty nurse, performed CPR, and used an Automated External Defibrillator, until the Rehoboth Beach Fire Department and Sussex County EMS arrived. Police say EMS was able to regain a pulse, and brought the victim to Beebe Medical Center where he was stabilized, before being transferred to Christiana Medical Center.
