Magnolia sex offender charged with indecent exposure, following reported playground incident

A Magnolia sex offender has been arrested, after he apparently exposed himself near a Milford playground.

Milford Police say on Tuesday, they arrested 24-year-old Alfred Smith 3rd, after witnesses say they saw him standing naked in the doorway of an apartment at the Mispillion Apartment Complex, several times.

According to the report, the apartment where Smith was staying, overlooks the playground. The witnesses say Smith was naked in the doorway, numerous times on Monday, while children played on the playground.

Police say Smith is a tier 2 sex offender, who hadn’t registered his new address with authorities. He was charged with failure to re-register as a sex offender, and indecent exposure 2nd degree. He was later released on a $1,500 unsecured bond.
