Firefighters battle barn fire in Felton

Delaware State Fire Marshals say no one was injured in a barn fire in Felton that started around 3:00 P.M. Tuesday.

Investigators discovered the fire started when a mechanical malfunction occurred with farm machinery that had just been parked in the barn. 47 ABC confirmed with an official from the fire company that there was no suspicious activity involved.

Fire officials say the barn and its contents are completely destroyed. The estimated damage is reportedly around $30,000.
