Dynamic Tournament: BSP Blacksox Drop Game Two
The 16U Blacksox looked to get a win in their second game of the game taking on the Crusaders at Parkside High School.
The Crusaders took a 1-0 lead early in the game, but it wasn’t long before the Blacksox scored the equalizer to even out the score. In the fifth inning, the Crusaders started finding the gaps and capitalizing on an infield grounding error. The Crusaders scored two runs in the fifth, including a run from a sac bunt by Nick Rivera.
The Crusaders pitching held up and kept the Blacksox on the board with a solo run the entire game, while scoring another run in the top of the seventh to secure the victory, 4-1.
The Blacksox are back in action Saturday at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium – game time is set for 1:00.
