DSF: The Hollywood Racing Pigs Showstopping Performance

The Hollywood Pig Racing has been a hit this year in their new location. These same pigs have been at the fair for the past six years, but with a brand new location – the owners feel like they have much better crowd turnouts and it is obvious why.

The Hollywood Pigs Racing pigs are not from Hollywood, in fact, they are from Florida and they have been racing for eight years. Whenever the pigs finish a race, or do something good – even bad – the pigs are rewarded with their favorite snacks, cream-filled vanilla cookies.

The races are at 2:00, 4:00, and 7:00 daily at the Delaware State Fair and do not worry – they will here the entire fair. Not only that, they are located by the circus and several animal petting areas where you can see giraffes, zebras, and many more exotic animals.

During the shows, there are three different races:

1. The Obstacle Race – there are two pigs in this race – each of them are about 10-13 years old, but they maneuvered throughout the course very well. They ran through blue tubes, ran through a maze of checkered print walls, jumped through hoops, and ran to the finish line.

2. The World’s Fastest Pot Belly Pigs – there are 4 pigs that run around an oval-shaped track and of course, it is not easy because they are pot belly pigs! The same pig, Notorius P.I.G. has won every race over the last 8 years.

– Taylor Swine

– Justin Bie-Bore

– Notorius P.I.G.

3. The Winner Takes All Race — there are six different pigs competing for the winner takes all and the bragging rights. The six pigs are all brothers and sisters who have been racing for the past 6 years.
