Dover man charged for marijuana possession in Cambridge

Police say a man who attempted to hide from an officer, was eventually charged for marijuana.

Cambridge Police say on Wednesday morning around 1:20 AM, an Officer on patrol noticed a man on a bike, trying to hide from the Officer on Douglas Street.

According to the report, when the Officer tried to approach the man to talk about his behavior, when he tried to run.

Police say they caught up with the man, identified as 35-year-old Joseph Forsythe, of Dover, Delaware, and found that he was in possession of marijuana. Forsythe was charged with possession of marijuana less than ten grams, and released pending trial.
