Country singer feels right at home on the shore

Country artist 26-year-old Bryson Jennings is set to makes his debut performance Sunday night at 10 p.m. here on the Shore, playing his hit single “Young Nights” among others.
47 ABC was able to catch up with Jennings before he hit the stage.
Despite being from South Carolina the artist has more similarities with the shore than you might think.
“It feels like home for me. I think anytime I ride in on roads that it’s just corn and tobacco and stuff like that I feel like I’m home you know,” Jennings said.
Not only does it feel like home for Jennings, he used to call a place not far from here home as well. Before making it big Jennings worked in Virginia Beach as a waterman.
“I would jump on the boat and go work and make some money but when I moved to Nashville that cut that out that was like, that was the jump off the deep end kind of head first kind of thing so it was cool that was probably that moment for me where I was like this is it,” Jennings told 47 ABC.
Now that Jennings has made it big he has some advice for anyone at home that wants to follow their dreams.
“You got to get up tomorrow and work a little harder than you did today cause I don’t think anyone’s ever going to work as hard for you as you’re going to,” Jennings said. “For me that’s an important thing, especially when yore following a dream man cause that kind of stuff doesn’t come easy.”
