Checkpoint Strikeforce to begin this weekend

The 4th of July weekend is upon us and police are warning drivers to stay safe. Officers in Delaware will be out across the State starting on Friday for the 15th annual “Checkpoint Strikeforce”.

Checkpoint Strikeforce is specifically aimed at arresting DUI offenders by using high visibility enforcement. Officials say 20 of this year’s 48 traffic deaths have been alcohol-related.
