Carnival employee arrested for drug possession

Easton Police say they arrested a man who was reportedly in possession of multiple drugs.
According to authorities, officers assigned to the carnival grounds off of Marlboro Avenue detected an odor of marihuana coming from one of the portable restrooms on the carnival grounds on Thursday. Officials say 21-year-old John Decker of Brooklyn Park was spotted exiting the Portable restroom.
Decker was reportedly in possession of a small plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana, as well as a $5.00 bill rolled up containing Oxycodone. Police say he was also in possession of paraphernalia utilized in conjunction with Controlled Dangerous Substances.
The owner of the carnival was contacted and says Decker, who was control of a carnival ride intended for children and young adults, was on a short break and scheduled to return to work shortly.
Decker was placed under arrest and charged criminally with Possession of CDS, Possession of CDS paraphernalia, and Reckless endangerment. Decker was also issued a civil citation for possession of Marijuana under 10 Grams.
Decker was ordered held in the Talbot county detention center on $3,500.00 bond.
