Cambridge man arrested on 2013 child pornography indictment

A Cambridge man has been arrested on a child pornography indictment, dating back to 2013.

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office says on Thursday, they arrested 38-year-old Carl Wilson. He was reportedly wanted in connection with an investigation into child pornography, that the Cambridge Police Department conducted in May 2013.

Cambridge PD apparently presented their case to the Dorchester County Grand Jury back in 2013, which led Wilson to be indicted on three counts of possession of child pornography. Investigators say Wilson was in prison on a burglary conviction at that time.

Wilson, who was arrested on the indictment charges apparently following his release, is now being held on a $75,000 bond at the Dorchester County Detention Center.
