Cambridge man accused of breaking into house, assaulting woman

Police say they have arrested a Cambridge man, after he broke into a house, and assaulted the woman inside.
The Cambridge Police Department says they responded to a disturbance on Killarney Road on Friday around 3:00 AM. Investigators say a women explained that a man entered her house through an upstairs bathroom window, and when she asked him to leave, he became angry and assaulted her. The victim identified the man as 23-year-old Adrian Rideout from Cambridge, and said that he does not live in her house.
Rideout was found shortly after, and was arrested. Police say they found crack cocaine in his pants pockets and several small baggies of heroin.
Rideout was charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine, burglary fourth degree, assault second degree, and trespassing private property.
He was taken to the Court Commissioner and is being held in the Dorchester County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
