Arson suspect arrested in Wilmington

The Delaware State Fire Marshal Deputies say they have arrested a Wilmington man for the Monday morning arson fire of a north Wilmington home.

The State Fire Marshal Deputies identified a suspect and have arrested Christopher Unruh of Wilmington.

According to initial reports, on Monday at about 6:00 AM the Talleyville Fire Company responded to Weldin Park Drive for a report of a house fire. State Fire Marshal Deputies investigation determined the origin and cause of the fire was intentionally started.

The fire caused about $250,000 in damage and no one was injured in the fire.

Unruh was charged with arson 3rd degree and reckless endangering 1st degree. He was reportedly arraigned and released on $7,000 unsecured bail.
