Armed forces members celebrated at DSF

Wednesday was a day of celebration at the 2015 Delaware State Fair for those who keep us safe here in the states.

Today is Armed Forces Day and all military members receive free admission to the fair with their military ID.

47 ABC spoke to a military member, who tells us that it’s easy to take the little things like the fair for granted.

“Everyone takes a little bit for granted going over there and coming back ya know shows us what we really have and some of things we can’t live without we overlook it everyday.” Said, Specialist Christopher Johnson with the Delaware Army National Guard.

Later tonight there will be a parade featuring and paying tribute to armed forces members.
