Annual clam bake serves as networking event

The J. Millard Tawes Crab and Clam Bake has become synonymous with networking, but it’s not all political.
Folks from Salisbury University hit the grounds with a tent of their own at the 2015 event.
Given the high volume of people who come to the feast, SU officials say they were able to speak to hundreds and promote their school.
A few programs in particular the The Business Economic and Community Outreach Network, otherwise known as BEACON. Robby Sheehan, Deputy Chief Of Staff at Salisbury University, says their graduate and MBA program is growing in popularity.
“We have a lot of parents who come past and we try to give them the admissions information, but this is a great opportunity for us to network and let Salisbury University shine.” Says Sheehan.
Salisbury University offers 14 Master’s degrees in Science and Technology, Education and Professional Studies, and Liberal Arts along with two Doctoral programs in Education and Nursing.
