Andean bear cub dubbed “Alba”

The votes are in! The Andean bear cub at the Salisbury Zoo was given the name Alba last week, after a public poll was collected from the zoo website.

Now, there is a new contest for Alba.

The Salisbury Zoo has a “Got Bear?” photo contest in the works. People are asked to send in their photos of the bear, by submitting through the zoo’s website: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Salisbury-Zoo/124211494256337?sk=app_292725327421649

The photos must be submitted by the person who took the image. Three winners will be chosen and the contest ends on August 31st.
