Wish-Bone ranch dressing recalled after it’s discovered to be blue cheese

A salad dressing has been pulled from store shelves, after it was apparently packaged under the wrong label.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says that Pinnacle Foods Group LLC has voluntarily recalled some of their Wish-Bone Ranch Salad Dressing, after it was found that the bottles really contained blue cheese dressing. Officials say they found out about the mishap, from a customer.
In total, a reported 8,678 cases of Wish-Bone Ranch Salad Dressing in 24 oz. Bottles, that were distributed nationwide, are affected.

The ranch labels don’t alert allergy sufferers that the blue cheese product contains eggs, which could cause a reaction. Officials say for those without an egg allergy, the product is still safe to eat.
