UPDATE: Wanted Milton man in custody

Police in Milton say they have taken a wanted man into custody.

Milton Police say 23-year-old Brandon Howell was arrested, and is now behind bars at the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $32,000 bond. Howell was wanted following an early Sunday domestic incident.

Police say during that incident, he went to the Waples Place home of a 37-year-old woman, pointed a handgun at her, said that he could kill her, before firing a round into the ground. Howell then fled the area on foot.

Howell was wanted on charges including possession of firearm by person prohibited, possession of firearm during commission of felony, aggravated menacing, terroristic threatening, and criminal trespass 2nd degree.

Howell is expected to have a preliminary hearing at a later date.
