UPDATE: Two Salisbury Christmas Parade protesters sentenced

An update regarding the protest at last year’s Salisbury Christmas parade.

47 ABC has learned that James Fleming and Jermaine Walker pleaded guilty on Monday, in Wicomico County Circuit Court, to resisting arrest. Fleming and Walker are two of the three men arrested during that protest.

The State’s Attorney’s office tells us the pair was sentenced to one year in jail, all of which was suspended. This means that there is no immediate jail time, Fleming and Walker are under 2 years supervised probation, but if they violate that probation, they’re subject to one year behind bars.

The third man arrested during the protest, 22-year-old Brandon Moore, was sentenced in April on assault in the second degree, failure to obey a lawful order and disorderly conduct. He is also on probation for two years. The judge did not find him guilty of resisting arrest.
