UPDATE: Man charged in Milford attempted bank robbery

Police in Milford say they have a South Carolina man in custody, after a morning bank robbery.

Milford Police say on Wednesday morning, 65-year-old Peter Harrison walked into the Artisans’ Savings Bank on Aerenson Drive, and demanded $100 bills from one of the tellers. According to the report, Harrison was not at the bank to make a transaction, and just kept demanding the money.

Police say Harrison used profane language and obscure gestures towards the employees,  before he left the bank without any money. Detectives say Harrison even made statements about killing one of the employees.

Harrison was arrested in the parking lot of Wawa, shortly after the incident. He was then charged with attempted robbery 2nd degree, disorderly conduct, and terroristic threatening. Harrison is being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on a $6,500 bond.
