UPDATE: Car Accident at Dover Pools in Salisbury

  An car accident in Salisbury Friday left both people involved with minor injuries and one with a citation.

Salisbury police said the 21 year old driver was heading southbound on Rt. 13 when she pulled into the Dover Pools parking lot and something caused her not to stop.

The car collided with a parked car causing the airbags to deploy and injuring both the driver and the passenger.

Both people were then moved to the hospital  for treatment  for their injuries.    

The driver was cited and charged with failure to control speed to avoid a collision.
