UPDATE: Arrest made in string of Salisbury thefts

Eric Marcus Fultz, 25-years-old, of Salisbury, MD

A Salisbury man has been arrested, in connection to a series of thefts from vehicles in various apartment complex parking lots.

Salisbury Police say during their investigation into the May 19 thefts, where 17 vehicles in total were damaged, many had windows smashed. Authorities say a 2004 Ford truck was also taken, after the suspects found a spare key hidden inside. There was reportedly $11,500 in property and money stolen during the incident, and one of the missing debit cards lead investigators to a suspect.

According to the report, Authorities had video surveillance of some of the incidents which happened in University Terrace, University Village, Varsity Lane and Marley Manor, that showed three men committing the acts. One of those same offenders was reportedly then also seen on video surveillance at a nearby business, attempting to use one of the stolen cards.

Police say they identified the man as 25-year-old Eric Fultz, and arrested him on Tuesday. He was charged with 11 counts of rogue & vagabond, 15 counts of malicious destruction of property, 12 counts of theft, 3 counts of credit card offenses, motor vehicle/unlawful taking, and unauthorized removal of property, before being turned over to the custody of Central Booking.

Police say they are continuing to investigate the thefts, and are asking anyone with information to contact the Salisbury Police Department at 410-548-3165 or Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776. Crime Solvers is offering an up to $1,000 reward for tips that lead to arrest.
