Two charged after being found passed out in vehicle in Milford

Police in Milford say they have arrested two men on drug charges, after they were found passed out in a vehicle.

Milford Police say on May 30, Officers responded to a business parking lot on N. Dupont Highway, for reports of two people passed out in a car, with the vehicle still in drive. Once on scene, Officers say they found the driver, 21-year-old Jordan West, of Lincoln, and passenger 24-year-old Anthony Fowler, of Milford, slumped over in the vehicle.

According to the report, both men passed out, after West had started the vehicle and put it in drive, while trying to move it forward, but the vehicle had stopped moving before Police arrived. Police say at the scene they found that Fowler had 6 bags of heroin, and West had one bag of heroin, along with a bag of 26 different prescription pills.

Fowler was taken from the scene to Milford Bayhealth for treatment, while West was taken to the Milford Police Department for charges. He was charged with possession of prescription drugs without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

After Fowler was released from the hospital, he was charged with possession of heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both men were later released on unsecured bonds.
