Police in Milford say they have arrested two Dover men, in connection with an armed robbery.

Milford Police say on Friday, a 67-year-old man was walking down NE Front Street, when two men moved towards him, and asked him for money. According to the report, when the man refused to turn over any cash, the two suspects punched him in the face, before each pulling out a handgun, and again demanding from the victim.

Police say the man didn’t have any money, but did turn over personal property to the men, after which they started to flee. Police however, happened to be in the right place at the right time, and saw the two men running.

The victim then reportedly told the Officers what happened, and they were able to arrest 22-year-old Hah-Keam Earle and 20-year-old Darren Tolson. While taking the men into custody, Police say they found the victim’s property, and the two handguns used in the incident, which were discovered to actually be a Glock style BB gun and a plastic toy gun.

The men were then charged with robbery 1st degree, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, conspiracy 2nd degree, assault 2nd degree victim 62-years-old or older, and criminal trespass 3rd degree. Both Earle and Tolson were ordered to be held at Sussex Correctional Institution on a $43,501 bond.

The victim, who had injuries to his face and mouth, refused treatment.
