Troopers remind public of child passenger safety checks

Research shows about four out of five car seats for children are not being properly used. To ensure your little ones are protected, Delaware State Police are offering help through their Community Outreach Unit.

There are troopers who represent the unit in every Delaware county. We’re told you can contact them for assistance with proper installation of child restraint seats. During the safety check, special technicians can not only show how to install but also answer questions about restraint.
