Three Delaware men arrested on heroin charges in Milford

Police in Milford say they seized nearly 600 bags of heroin during an arrest on Wednesday.

Milford Police say on Wednesday night, their Drugs & Narcotics Division, along with their Patrol Division, Special Operations Group and the DSP Kent County Drug Unit, searched a home on S. Walnut Street, in connection to a month long investigation.

At the home, 57-year-old Kevin Lewis and 25-year-old Landon Lewis, both of Milford, were reportedly arrested. Law enforcement say they also arrested 28-year-old Brian Finkbiner, of Lincoln, that same night, in the parking lot of a business on S. Dupont Highway. Investigators say they found around 598 bags of heroin, about 6.8 grams of cocaine, a firearm and multiple prescription medications at the home.

All three men were charged with possession of heroin tier 5 quantity, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and conspiracy second degree, before being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on various cash bonds.

Police say Landon Lewis was also wanted by the Milford Police Department for a separate incident, where he reportedly leased property from a local rental company, didn’t follow the lease agreement, and never returned the item. He has since additionally been charged with felony failure to comply with lease agreement. Detectives say they found the rented property at the home during the search.
