Teen convicted and sentenced after PNC bank robbery

The teenager accused of robbing a bank in Salisbury pleaded guilty today for his part in the crime.

According to Wicomico County State’s Attorney Matt Maciarello, 16-year-old Michael Quillen pleaded guilty in court this morning to robbery.  He was sentenced to 10 years with all but 18 months suspended.

This was apparently part of a plea deal but, the terms of that deal were not immediately released.

Last month, Quillen went into the PNC bank on Isabella Road unarmed and handed the teller a note demanding money. He was eventually arrested after being identified from surveillance footage.

Two other men, Lonnie Morton Jr. And Raymone Jones, face charges relating back to this case. Morton is due in court in September and Jones is due in court in August.
