Suspect arrested following stabbing threat over pizza

A Milford woman is behind bars after she allegedly threatened to stab another woman, apparently over pizza.
This reportedly stems from a June 11 incident when 27-year-old Veronica Hurtt was outside of a home located in the 400 block of N. Church Street. Police say Hurtt and the 30-year-old female victim had verbal dispute about pizza when Hurtt “became irate”.
According to reports released Saturday, Hurtt threw a full pizza box at the female victim before she allegedly pulled out a knife from her waistband and threatened to stab the female victim with it.
The female victim reportedly threatened to call the police and Hurtt fled the scene.
Then on June 19, Milford Police say they made contact with Hurtt during a traffic stop on Brandywine Drive in the Shawnee Acres Development. The 30-year-old victim was reportedly an occupant of the vehicle at the time.
According to police, Hurtt initially provided police with a false name before being taken into custody by the Milford Police. While at the police department, authorities tell us Hurtt refused to comply with fingerprints and photos for the criminal charges and was charged for her non-compliance.
Hurtt was arraigned and committed to WCI in default of $31,600.00 secured bond. She faces charges of Aggravated Menacing, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, Criminal Contempt of a Domestic Violence Protective Order Through Use of Threat of a Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Deadly Weapon by Person Prohibited, Offensive Touching, Terroristic Threatening, Criminal Contempt of a Domestic Violence Protective Order, Criminal Impersonation and Failure to Comply with taking Photos and Fingerprints.
Veronica Hurtt was charged with Aggravated Menacing, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, Criminal Contempt of a Domestic Violence Protective Order Through Use of Threat of a Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Deadly Weapon by Person Prohibited, Offensive Touching, Terroristic Threatening, Criminal Contempt of a Domestic Violence Protective Order, Criminal Impersonation and Failure to Comply with taking Photos and Fingerprints.
