Serious crash north of Pocomoke

Maryland State Police from the Berlin Barrack say they responded to the area of Route 113 just after 5:30 on Monday afternoon for reports of a serious motor vehicle crash.

Lt. Ear Starner of the Maryland State Police says the driver of a Ford Mustang was airlifted by State Police aviation to an undisclosed hospital to be treated for injuries.

Troopers on the scene tell 47 ABC others injured in the crash were transported via EMS to Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

No word on the condition of anyone involved in that crash. The investigation is ongoing and being conducted by the Maryland State Police.
