Pocomoke man arrested for theft for reportedly towing stolen trailer

A Pocomoke City man was arrested on theft charges over the weekend, during a traffic stop in Worcester County.
The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office says on Friday around 6:30 PM, a Deputy with their Motor Unit pulled over a blue F-150 on Route 113, near Downs Road. According to the report, the truck was pulling a small utility trailer that had a broken left taillight, and no registration.
During the stop, the Deputy reportedly spoke with the driver, 20-year-old Tony Holden, and apparently quickly learned through the trailer’s Vehicle Identification Number, that it has been reported stolen in Delaware.
Holden was then arrested, and charged with theft. He was later released pending trial, following an initial appearance with the District Court Commissioner.
