Person of interest sought in Dover armed robbery

Police in Dover are hoping that the release of surveillance photos, will help them nab a suspect in an armed robbery.

Dover Police say on Tuesday sometime between 10:50 PM and just after 11:00 PM, a man pulled into the parking lot of Building J at the Woodmill Apartments on Farmview Drive. According to the report, as he was getting out of his car, a man walked up to him, pulled out what looked like a firearm, and demanded money.

Police say while the man was holding the victim at gunpoint, the suspect searching his pockets, and stole his credit cards, keys, and a small amount of cash. The suspect then apparently got into a vehicle, and fled the area.

Later, Police say someone tried to use the victim’s credit card at the Hartly Royal Farms. That person is pictured in the photos above. Police say this person is now a person of interest in their investigation.
