One injured in motorcycle crash in Easton

One person is in the hospital, after crash a motorcycle in Easton overnight.

Easton Police say on Friday morning around 12:10 AM, Officers responded to a single vehicle crash on Glebe Road, near the Real Life Chapel. Police say their investigation found that the red 2005 Honda VTX was traveling down Glebe Road, when the rider apparently hit a curb on a turn in the roadway.

According to the report, the bike then drove off the road, leaving the occupant on the lawn of the Real Life Chapel. The motorcyclist was rushed to University of Maryland Shock Trauma, where they are reportedly listed in critical, but stable condition. Easton Police say their Crash Reconstruction Unit is working on reconstructing the incident.

The Easton Volunteer Fire Department and Maryland State Police assisted in the investigation at the scene. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact Pfc. Heather Hanson of the Easton Police Department at 410-822-1111 with information.
