Magnolia man arrested with a reported 195 bags of heroin on him

Police say they recovered nearly 200 bags of heroin during the arrest of a Magnolia man on Tuesday afternoon.
Dover Police say a drug investigation led their Drugs, Vice, and Organized Crime Unit, Street Crimes Unit, along with Probation and Parole officers, tried to catch up with 19-year-old Shykeem Johnson in the parking lot of Hardees on Bay Road. Johnson reportedly fled from the Officers, but they were able to apprehend him shortly after.
Police say they found that Johnson had 195 bags of heroin, totaling 2.9 grams, some of which he threw while running from Officers.
Johnson was charged with possession of heroin – tier 2 quantity, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, tampering with evidence, and violation of probation. He is now being held at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on a $31,500 bond.
