Information sought on Seaford parking lot shooting

Police in Seaford are looking for information, after a reported shooting left a woman injured.
Seaford Police say on Wednesday around 8:40 PM, Officers responded to the Chandler Heights Apartment Complex for reports of a shooting. Once on scene, Police say they found that a 22-year-old Wilmington woman got into an argument with two men in the complex parking lot, which turned violent. According to the report, one of the suspects shot the woman in her hip, before fleeing in a red, possible Hyundai, driven by a heavy set woman.
The victim was reportedly taken to Kent General Hospital in Dover, where she was admitted for treatment. Police say they searched the area, but couldn’t locate the suspects. The Seaford Police Criminal Investigations Division has assumed the investigation.
