Georgetown Titans down the State Line Strutters

The Georgetown Titans defeated the State Line Strutters 5-2 in Eastern Shore Baseball League play Wednesday night, at Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex in Salisbury.
The Strutters took the early lead, when Brandon McCabe got hit by a pitch, scoring Mitch Green. State Line took a 2-0 lead into the bottom of the first. Kam Stewart would score the first run for the Titans, on an RBI fielder’s choice by Conner Cooper. Jordan Gowe would knot the game up at two, scoring on a passed ball. Stewart also gave Georgetown the lead in the third inning, blasting a single to right, scoring Cody Dmiterchik.
Both teams are back in action with a doubleheader Sunday, the Strutters take on Tri-County at Washington High in Princess Anne, while Georgetown hosts the Thunder at Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex.
