Franchot speaks in Ocean City

Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot  is set to speak Saturday night at the Maryland State Firemen’s Association and Ladies Auxiliary Joint Officers Banquet in Ocean City.

Saturday’s banquet will kick off the organization’s 123rd annual convention.  

At the event Franchot will address volunteers,  their families and public safety officials from throughout the state thanking them for what they do to keep Maryland safe.
    More than 275 firefighters are expected to attend the banquet,  which will be the first event in the week long annual convention.
