Ellendale man charged with assault

Milford Police say an Ellendale man was arrested and charged stemming a domestic incident in late May.

According to police, 24-year-old Anthony White was arrested and charged on June 17, after he allegedly punched a female victim in the face and pushed her. According to police reports released on Saturday, the incident happened at the Brightway Commons Apartment Complex.

An investigation revealed that White and the 23-year-old victim were involved in a verbal dispute before it turned physical. During the physical altercation and verbal dispute, a two-year-old child was reportedly present.

White was charged with Assault 3rd Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Disorderly Conduct.

White reportedly fled prior to Milford Police arriving. The female victim suffered minor injuries to the face, neck and chest area; however, we’re told she did not want medical treatment at the time of this incident.

White was arraigned and released on $2,000.00 unsecured bond.
