Easton approves building for marijuana growing facility

Officials in Easton, have determined a building in the town can be used as a medical marijuana growing facility.

According to a letter sent by Easton Town Planner Lynn Thomas, the former Black & Decker building, can be used to grow medical marijuana because the building falls under the “agriculture” zoning ordinance. The letter was sent to John Pica, of a law firm that apparently represents CBD Wellness Group.

The one caveat to the approval of the zoning, was that the proposed facility did not contain a dispensary for Medical Marijuana. If one was added to the proposal, officials say that could lead to a different conclusion.
