DSP investigating crash on Route 1 in Dover

Delaware State Police say around 5:30 PM Sunday, they responded to a single car crash in Dover.
According to reports 35-year-old Ericha Prather, of Newark, was driving north in the left lane of Route 1, just north of the exit 95 ramp. Prather then reportedly drove in an east direction, off the road and struck a guard rail, and then a light pole causing the vehicle to catch fire. Upon impact police say, the light pole fell across all lanes of SR 1 north blocking all traffic. Officials say the vehicle became fully engulfed in flames moments after the driver exited her vehicle.
Prather was the only one who reportedly sustained injures, and was transported to Kent General Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Police say charges are pending, but Sergeant Richard Bratz of Delaware State Police tell 47 ABC that alcohol does seem to be a factor in this accident.
Troopers say it took about two-and-a-half hours to clear the incident.
