Dover sex offender accused of raping teen

Police in Dover say they have arrested a man, who raped a teenager.

Dover Police say 30-year-old Lamar Trower, of Dover, is behind bars in connection to the rape of a 17-year-old girl. Police say the incident was reported on June 6th, but happened before that date at an undisclosed location in Dover.

Trower has since been charged with 4th degree rape, and unlawful sexual conduct against a child by a sex offender. He is currently being held at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on a $80,000 bond.
