Dorchester Co. announces 2015 Summer Food Service Program locations

Children in need in Dorchester County this summer, can have food in their bellies, thanks to a free program. The Dorchester County Board of Education says this summer, they will be participating in the 2015 Summer Food Service Program.

Starting on Monday, June 29 and running through Thursday, July 23, children can get breakfast and/or lunch at the following sites.

• Choptank Elementary School, 1103 Maces Lane, Cambridge, MD 21613
• Hurlock Elementary School, 301 Charles Street, Hurlock, Maryland 21643
• Maple Elementary School, 5225 Egypt Road, Cambridge, Maryland 21613

Breakfast is available from 8:30 until 9:00 AM, while lunch will be served from 11:30 AM until 12:00 PM. Sites are open Monday through Thursday.

The following site is open Monday, July 6, through Thursday, July 30, with breakfast available from 8:00 until 8:30 AM, and lunch from 11:00 until 11:30 AM.

• Maces Lane Middle School, 1101 Maces Lane, Cambridge, MD 21613

The program is free of charge, and children will not be discriminated against, as per the U.S Department of Agriculture policy.
