Dewey Beach “Party Crashers”

Authorities say “the party is over” for those who decide illegally drink alcohol or give liquor to minors.
The Delaware Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Enforcement have partnered up with local and state law enforcement agencies to launch their new “Party Crashers” initiative.
It aims to enforce underage drinking laws and unlawfully selling to minors; particularly in and around the town of Dewey Beach.
According to reports, thousands of recent high school graduates will make their way to Dewey Beach during the first two weeks of June.
Authorities say they want this time to be a celebration and not a tragic mistake. The “Party Crashers” initiative includes an increased presence of police officers and a partnership with the Sussex County Realtors Association. Members of the association will be distributing campaign flyers to all rental units in Dewey Beach.
