2015 Delmarva Fireworks Events List
Summer is here, and Independence Day is right around the corner, have you planned where you are going to view fireworks from yet? Well, you’re in luck! Here is a list of firework shows around the area. DELAWARE:
- Bethany Beach – Saturday July 4th – Parade at 12:00 PM starts at the intersection of Pennsylvania and Garfield Parkway and take its traditional 2-mile route through the town. Other activities throughout the day, ending with fireworks at dusk, off Wellington Parkway. - Dewey Beach – July 4th from 9:00 until 10:00 PM.
- Dover – July 4th – Fireworks at dusk at Legislative Mall. Festival with food, vendors, music, a parade, special events, and the very best fireworks show for miles, goes all day. For more information, visit the Dover 4th of July website. http://www.dover4thofjuly.com
- Lewes – Cape May-Lewes Ferry leaves at 7:15 PM on July 4th, for their Fireworks Cruise. View all the spectacular fireworks that will illuminate the skies above the Delaware Bay. - Rehoboth – Sunday, July 5th around 9:15 PM. They will be visible from the Boardwalk, along with up and down the Shoreline. Visit www.downtownrb.com for details or call 302.227.2772.
MARYLAND:
- Cambridge – July 4th on the Waterfront. They will be visible from both Long Wharf Park near High and Water Streets and Great Marsh Park near Somerset Avenue and Hambrooks Boulevard. For more information visit The City of Cambridge’s website. http://www.choosecambridge.com/
- Crisfield – Saturday, June 27th. Freedom Fest opens at 5:00 PM, with food, live music, free activities for children, a bounce castle, arts and crafts, a military appreciation slideshow and color guards, and the day wraps up with fireworks at 9:15 PM. - Easton – Saturday, July 4th: Easton’s Carnival & 4th of July Celebration – 4 -11:00 PM. An opportunity to enjoy the carnival, food for sale, and live music with Fireworks at dusk. Waterside Village, (behind Target), Marlboro Avenue, Easton. Fireworks will be set up in the field next to Target at the intersection of the Easton Bi-Pass and St. Michaels Road. - Hebron- July 4th at 9:30 PM on the Hebron Carnival Grounds.
- Nanticoke – July 3rd at dusk at the Roaring Point Campground, with music by LJ the DJ, and karaoke!
- Ocean City – July 4th 8:00 – 10:00 PM. Enjoy a free concert at 8:00 PM, followed by fireworks at 9:30PM at Northside Park on 125th Street, or the beach at N. Division Street. For more information, call 1-800-OC-OCEAN or 410-250-0125.
- Ocean Pines – July 4th, Fireworks Display just after dark around 9:15 PM at Showell Park on Racetrack Road. Best viewing available at Showell Elementary School, The Community Church at Ocean Pines, Most Blessed Sacrament School, The Pavilions, and St. John Neumann Church. - Oxford – July 3rd, sponsored by the Tred Avon Yacht Club. Fireworks will be set off around dusk.
- Salisbury:
- July 3rd Fireworks will follow the 6:35 PM Delmarva Shorebirds game at the Arthur W. Perdue Stadium.
- July 4th at Red, White, and Boom Fireworks Show at the County Stadium, across from the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center at dark.
- Snow Hill – First Saturday, featuring fireworks and food on July 3rd at Sturgis Park.
- St. Michaels – July 4th, Fireworks at dusk
- Willards – July 3rd, Fireworks at Willards Elementary School. Events start at 5:00 PM, with fireworks at nightfall.
VIRGINIA:
