1,300+ bags of heroin seized during Dover traffic stop

A traffic stop in Dover, reportedly led to the seizure of more than 1,300 bags of heroin.

Dover Police say on Tuesday, around 10:30 AM, an Officer pulled over a vehicle on Barrister Place near South Little Creek Road, for a broken windshield. During the stop, the Officer and their K-9 partner investigated further, and say they found 1,391 bags of heroin, with a total weight of 20.8 grams.

Both the driver, 30-year-old Gary Stanley II, and passenger, Ontara Stanley, were reportedly arrested, and charged. Each were charged with possession of heroin – tier 5 quantity, possession with intent to deliver heroin with aggravating factor, conspiracy 2nd degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bond information for the two suspects, was not immediately available.
