YMCA offering free membership to 6th graders

The YMCA of the Chesapeake is celebrating 61 years of service and to honor the achievement, they announced the 6th grade membership initiative.

Registration is set to start August 1st and it provides a free 1 year subscription for all 6th graders. Registration is simple, students, accompanied by a guardian just bring proof of their 5th grade completion status with either a roster or a report card to any location of the YMCA of the Chesapeake.

The membership will run from August 15th, 2015 through August 14th, 2016.
