Wicomico Co. teacher indicted on sex abuse charges

A Salisbury teacher has been indicted after she was accused of sexually abusing a minor.
According to Wicomico State’s Attorney Matt Maciarello, Kelly Riddle, who is a teacher at Bennett Middle School, was indicted on two counts of sexual abuse of a minor, which is a felony.
Details on the case are limited at this time. Riddle is listed on the Wicomico Board of Education website as an eighth grade science teacher.
Officials with Wicomico County Schools tell 47 ABC Riddle was placed on administrative leave with pay pending the outcome of the investigation. We’re told this is procedure for a situation like this.
