Wicomico Co. Public Schools to re-locate Central Offices

The Central Offices of Wicomico County Public Schools will be moving for the 2015-2016 school year.

Officials with the schools say around 150 employees will be re-located from their current location on Long Avenue in Salisbury, to the Northgate Business Park in north Salisbury.

These employees will be transitioning from five separate buildings, to one large space. Officials say the move will improve office efficiency, make for a better work environment, and will be more fiscally responsible than repairing the existing structures, or creating a new one.

After the move, the current Central Office space is expected to be taken over by Infants and Toddlers Program, which is now renting space on Northwood Drive.
