Washington Baseball Edges Eagles To Advance

The Washington baseball team defeated North Dorchester 6-5 Friday afternoon to advance to the regional quarterfinals. The jaguars will now travel to play Cambridge South Dorchester.

The Eagles would take an  early 1-0 lead and hold onto it as Brennan Lowe was dealing to start. Eventually, the Jaguars bats would warm up though. They would plate 5 in the 3rd including a towering home run. Lowe would then try and work his team back into it with an RBI single. Followed by another unearned run, the Eagles would find themselves down 5-3. Eric Logan would then come through for the jaguars with an RBI single to stretch the lead back to 3. North Dorchester would pick up another couple runs, but Julius White would close the door for the win.
